The Power Of A Unique Flower Wall

A flower wall is ideal for adding that elusive wow factor to your event. When you’re planning an event, whether it’s personal or professional, you want the décor to be vibrant and notable, not forgettable. This is why like any type of floral arrangement, flower walls offer endless options for customization based on the color scheme, type of flowers, or aesthetic you prefer. However, they offer additional benefits that suit any type of event.

Flower wall

A flower wall is a great way to highlight a particular area of an event or where you want guests to focus their attention. For a wedding, this could mean at the entrance to the venue, and as a backdrop for the vows in the ceremony space, or behind the bridal table at the reception. For a gala, you might place one just inside the entrance, or on the event stage. Floral walls naturally draw the eye, and they have the impact of large, free-standing floral arrangements without taking up floor space in the same manner.

Flower wall as a backdrop

As well as serving as a conversation piece, a flower wall can also be the perfect backdrop for traditional photos or selfies. For a personal event, this can be a great way to capture additional fun and fabulous images to remind you of your big day, either taken by a photographer or by your guests. For a professional event, encouraging your guests to take their own photos and post them to social media so they can promote your brand while also adding zest to your gala or luncheon.

The best part

The best part about a flower wall is the endless variation possible in the concept. You can create just about any atmosphere imaginable through the flowers, greenery, and colors you choose. So you might opt for a wall composed of bright tropical flowers and greenery, or an Ombre wall made exclusively of roses. Or go for a green-and-white theme, which fits nicely with a sophisticated modern wedding or upscale charity gala.

Incorporation

Incorporating moss or succulents can add textural and sculptural details that add interest no matter what your theme. For corporate events, a floral wall or flower wall can also be the perfect spot to include your logo or any other information in the event décor, either surrounded by flowers or created by them.

Inner Circle Décor is the best resource for creating your perfect flower wall. We offer the best of flower walls to create the atmosphere you want, from rustic to glam, and can proportion and position your wall for maximum effect in your venue. We will ensure that all your décor is in position, fresh and beautiful, the moment the doors open and your guests begin to arrive, so that you don’t need to worry about a thing except enjoying yourself.

THRONE CHAIRS – WHY YOU SHOULD HAVE THEM FOR YOUR NEXT PARTY!

Using throne chairs in parties, birthdays, weddings, and many other special occasions have become increasingly popular these days. The celebrant or the bride and groom will surely become the centre of attraction when an elegant throne chair is positioned in the stage. Throne chairs come in many different colours. The most common ones are white, black, blue, purple, and pink. Although there are many colours to choose from, many people prefer white throne chair rental. The colour white has always been a symbol of purity, positivity, goodness and perfection.

Why Choose A White Throne Chair?

In psychology, white symbolizes purity and new beginnings. It would be so amazing to see a beautiful bride dressed in a long, white gown sitting in a white throne chair with either silver or gold trim. White also symbolizes positivity and independence, making it an ideal colour of throne chair for someone celebrating their special birthday.

Rather than picking other colours, white throne chair rental is recommended because of its versatility. White throne chairs can fit in any occasion no matter what the theme is and regardless of the age and gender of the celebrant. Needless to say, it would be awkward to pick a light pink throne chair for a man celebrating his 60th birthday.

White throne chairs

They come in many types and their price differs according to the material used. They can be made of vinyl, velvet or faux leather. It is wise to know the difference of each material. This way, you can ensure you are paying for something that best fits your personality.

Vinyl:

Also called leatherette, vinyl is a synthetic material made to mimic the look and feel of genuine leather. If you are someone who perspires a lot, a throne chair made of vinyl may not be the best option. Vinyl is non-porous, meaning it does not facilitate air flow.

Nonetheless, vinyl throne chairs are classy and easy to clean. So it will not be a problem if you have accidentally poured something to the chair in the middle of the party. You just need a couple of clean wipes and your good to go; no extra charges to be paid to the white throne chair rental.

Faux Leather:

It would be hard for an ordinary’ person (someone who doesn’t have keen eyes) to differentiate faux leather from its genuine counterpart. A throne chair made from this material looks undeniably prestigious and expensive. Although it is a durable material, the normal process of wear and tear can get it the way especially if white throne chairs of this kind are constantly exposed to extreme weather conditions like direct sunlight.

Velvet:

The best seller at white throne chair rental shops are pieces of furniture accentuated with velvet fabric.

Why? Because of all fabrics, velvet gives unparalleled sophistication. If you have not noticed, thrones of kings and queens are made from this type of fabric. If you want to feel both glamorous and luxurious on your special day, then this option is ideal for you.

Your friend just hosted a party. You noticed there was a beautiful throne chair in the venue and you just can’t get your eyes off it. You will be celebrating your birthday next month and you want to have that elegant piece of furniture, too. Well, all you need to do is rent a throne from us. We have a wide selection of thrones for any occasions.

Centerpieces 101 – The Importance of a Centerpiece

Whether you’re attending a wedding, fundraising dinner, or professional conference, you are sure to be seated at a banquet table. In the middle of the table is a centerpiece. Some centerpieces are simple and others are elaborate, but whatever is found at the center of the table is meant to draw attention and make a statement. It’s undeniable: centerpieces are important.

Why Consider a Floral Centerpiece?

There are so many options to consider when selecting a centerpiece for your special event. Many people decide to use photographs, floating candles, jars of sand and seashells, stacks of vintage books…the list goes on and on. The need to be creative and unique has grown in importance in recent years.

But there is something classic and timeless about a floral centerpiece. The possibilities are endless. Arrangements vary from traditional to modern and everything in between. Given the variety of species, colors, and sizes of flowers, a floral centerpiece can be as unique as you are.

There is one thing that puts a floral centerpiece head and shoulders above any of the other non-traditional options: the opportunity to collaborate with an expert. Florists are artists. They take your event and dissect it, ask you questions, then create a piece that reflects the nature of your event. You walk away with a unique, meaningful, and beautiful centerpiece that represents the true purpose of your momentous occasion. Two heads are indeed better than one.

Once again, the principles of floral design are numerous. Each florist incorporates both common and individual principles to create a centerpiece. Today we will be focusing on 6 commonly accepted principles of centerpiece arrangements:

Design

This refers to the size and shape of the arrangement and is determined based on the occasion, event location, and materials.

Balance

This is determined by the form and color of the arrangement:
Symmetrical Balance: Each side of the arrangement has an equal amount of materials.
Asymmetrical Balance: The sides do not contain equal amounts, but do have equal amounts of visual interest. Visual interest is strongly influenced by the use of color. Dark colors are “heavy” and usually used in the lower portion of the arrangement, while lighter colors are best used in the outer and upper portions. The use of contrast creates visual interest in the piece.

Scale

This refers to the proportion of materials used relative to the container. It is also defined by the size and shape of the flowers used. Traditionally, smaller flowers are used at the top and center of the piece, with the full blossoms placed at the bottom and center and partially opened blooms are used to fill the “in-between” portion of the arrangement.

Rhythm

This plays an important role in directing the individual’s attention to the arrangement’s “main line” and allows the viewer to understand the piece as their eyes wander along the main line.

Emphasis

The focal point of the arrangement is the central point from which all other components appear to originate. Although considered the central point, focal point is not necessarily located at the center of the arrangement. The focal point is often a large or unusual flower or cluster that stands out. Emphasis is created by using a variety of flowers and other materials so that attention is drawn to the focal point.

Harmony & Unity

This refers to the blending of colors, repetition, and use of an appropriate container to display the arrangement. Harmony and unity are created when the arrangement is proportional to both the container used and the event venue.

Floral Centerpiece:

Styles

There are many different ways of classifying a floral centerpiece. Today we will be focusing on 3 general styles:

Oriental

Oriental arrangements emphasize the lines of the arrangement. The principle of rhythm is of great significance when designing an oriental arrangement. In addition, the use of asymmetrical balance is what frequently creates the focal point of the piece.

Traditional/Western

Traditional arrangements emphasize the use of many flowers in the mass of the arrangement. These pieces are often symmetrical in balance and are very particular about the proper use of scale in their design.

Modern

Modern arrangements emphasize your unique needs, desires, and vision. Because of this, the principles of design can vary greatly in importance. Clients often select an asymmetrical balance to draw attention to the piece. Unique flowers are used to define the focal point rather than opting for a cluster of blooms. Another characteristic of modern arrangements includes drastic variations in flower size. A key aspect of modern arrangements tends to be an intense focus on the exaggeration of one floral design principle to make a statement.

Floral Centerpieces: The Bottom Line

As you can see, there are many things to consider when designing a centerpiece. Several of these concepts come naturally to most people. We know that the arrangement has a focal point that it is often created using size and color. We know that the different parts of the arrangement should fit together as a whole. We know a successful centerpiece when we see one.

But it takes a trained decorator to take your event, apply these principles, and create a centerpiece that defines your vision. This creative ability is what allows the professionals at Inner Circle Décor turn centerpieces into works of art.

Are you planning an event? Are you in need of the perfect centerpiece? Do you have a distinct desire to capture the attention of your guests with something unique? Consider the countless available and affordable options provided by Inner Circle Décor

Why We Love Sweetheart Tables And 4 Ways To Make Your Table One-of-a-Kind

There are two kinds of people in the world. Head Table People and Sweetheart Table People.

Here at Inner Circle Décor, we know better than to take sides. But we will admit that there are some definite perks to having a sweetheart table.

You’ll get more time with your partner on the big day. You’ve got the perfect backdrop for photos and speeches. You might actually get to eat. And of course, you’re the center of attention, as you should be, on that big day!

Today we’re going over 4 ways to make your table one of a kind. So sit back, relax, and get inspired.

Make Your Sweetheart Table and Chairs As Unique As You Are

Sure wooden chairs will work. And yes a dark wood table would be nice. But hop onto The Knot and Pinterest and you’ll find countless ways to bring something new to your sweetheart table, including the chairs and table.

Whether you opt for a lux lounge sofa or plush velvet armchairs for an elegant affair or go for a bamboo table to match your coastal surroundings at a beach wedding, your sweetheart table itself can make a statement and steal the show.

While you may not spend a ton of time sitting during your wedding, it’s always nice to feel comfy and elegant when you do.

Dress The Table To The Nines With Linens and Finishing Touches

Once you’ve got your table and chairs picked out, it’s time to define your style with things like linens, table settings, centerpieces, and lights.

You could opt for understated touches like classic charger or linen tablecloths, or go with ornate plate ware and gorgeous glassware. The key here is to define your style and keep it consistent. That’s because, as you design this sweetheart table, you’re actually defining the style for the rest of your event as well.

Fall Head Over Heels For Fabulous Florals

Florals can elevate your sweetheart table in a snap. And you can do it with things like a lush long strand of greenery for a  table runner, a classic floral arrangement, an archway placed artfully behind the table, or a floating floral piece that hangs above your own little slice of heaven for the evening.

Find your favorites on The Knot and Pinterest and bring those ideas to Inner Circle Décor to see how to make them your own. (Need a floral designer? Fill out our contact form and we’ll make sure we get you in touch with ours!)

Plan For Unforgettable Photos

And of course, no discussion of sweetheart tables would be complete if we didn’t mention photos!

When you’re designing your sweetheart table you’re setting it up to become the major focal point of your reception.

That means you’ll want to speak to your photographer and perhaps even the venue manager about how to get the right light, best angles, and most beautiful backdrop for those “memories-in-the-making”.

Not Sure Where To Start With Your Sweetheart Table? We Can Help!

Let us make your sweetheart table even sweeter!

What Is Event Design

This is a necessary elements of any successful event. Everyone knows that event decoration brings out the elegance and statement you want to make with any event – the professionalism that goes into every event decoration appears in the end result.
Inner Circle Décor provides event design for corporate and private events. As party decoration specialists we’re able to offer a comprehensive design package that’s unrivaled. Here we give a few tips on what to include in event design.

Event design explained

So what is event design? Event design focuses on the décor, style and aesthetics of an event. It’s about creating a vision and then designing all the visual details to transform a venue into that dream. Whether you’re planning a wedding reception, birthday party, baby shower or corporate product launch, event design co-ordinates branding, colour, invitations, centerpieces, etc to a given theme. Event planning provides the logistical framework, while event design brings a creative vision to life.
Successful event design is an art. It can change the mood and atmosphere of a venue and facilitate audience engagement, so what is event design and what does it involve?

Space

The space available within your chosen venue is the foundation for your event design. Think about where your guests will enter and exit and where equipment and furnishings need to be located. It’s important to strike the right balance between empty space and occupied space as you don’t want your event to be crowded. Neither do you want it to appear lost in a large space.

Layout

How you decide to use a room can totally transform your space. Experience with seating layouts to gain the best effect. Does your event favor seating guests around tables or are rows of seats laid out in theatre style more applicable.

Furnishings

Furnishings, equipment and structures help to balance space and also add character. You may prefer for a particular shape, ie cube or circle to influence your design, and incorporate this in your décor and furnishing style. Effective use of furnishings and equipment also involves analysing proportion and overall effect. For example, creating an imposing entrance arch or using long linear tables to create a banqueting effect. Don’t be afraid to experiment with furniture and equipment to provide focal points in your event space.

Lighting

Lighting is a major element in good event design. Experiment with lighting to emphasize and highlight key areas of your space, through the use of uplighters, projecting images onto dance floors (gobo lighting) and also incorporate interchangeable colour with LED lighting. Take into account the natural light, where windows are located and how light enters the room as shade can make a space less attractive to your guests.

Colour

Colour also helps to set the mood and tone for an event and should be chosen carefully in accordance with the nature of your event. An extravagant evening celebration would be enhanced by the use of metallic golds and silver combined with black. Light greens and blue colours might be more suited to a event where events need to focus and learn, a baby shower could feature blue or pink, and corporate events may need to promote product branding.

Your chosen colour scheme should run through décor, lighting, promotional materials, menus, etc. Experiment with different hues of your core colours as this can add an interesting dimension whilst maintaining a cohesive overall effect.

Patterns

Patterns can also add interest to your event design. Think about how you could introduce stripes, geometric patterns, animal prints or florals to create an inspiring or quirky feel. However, busy patterns can be enhanced by bold block colours, so combining the two will also create an interesting effect.

Careful use of all of the above design principles will immediately create a polished and professional overall appearance. Event planning guarantees that an event will be designed exactly to your requirements, perhaps including little extras you hadn’t thought of too, an element of surprise to a given theme.

Inner Circle Décor are event planners extraordinaire. The major benefit here is that we execute every client needs with precision and style each element to perfection.

How to plan a safe event, keeping delegates safe has always been a top priority for event organizers – more now than ever before in the wake of Covid-19. Here’s everything you need to know on how to plan a safe event.

A venue that fits
The first step towards designing a safe event is to note down all the key aspects of the function, so you can find a venue that can safely deliver everything. Think about your expected delegate numbers, if your delegates have any specific access needs, and any activities or break-out sessions you have planned. This will help you anticipate how much space you need to deliver all the component parts of your event while meeting minimum standards for social distancing and other infection control measures

Risk assessments

An important pre-planning tool for any event, a risk assessment of your preferred venue should be carried out early on in the process to identify any potential problems. This will give you ample opportunities to make changes to your event to make it as safe as possible. To ensure you don’t forget or overlook anything, it is advisable to use a risk assessment form to address different areas of risk in a methodical way. Key things to look out for include risk of injury to staff or delegates – such as trip hazards or risks while using equipment, fire hazards, and any consequences of poor weather, such as slippery surfaces. If your company has a pre-existing risk assessment form, ensure there is a new section included in relation to Covid-19.

Scrutinize policies
If you have found a venue you think meets your needs, ask to see any documentation available that outlines safety measures on-site. All good venues will have considered this carefully, and will want all future delegates to feel safe even before they arrive. Be sure to ask questions if there is still anything you are unsure about. Visit England is also now awarding ‘Good to Go’ certificates to venues that are deemed safe in terms of Covid-19 guidelines, so using a venue that has one of these will give you and your delegates extra peace of mind. These venues will have measures in place such as temperature checks, sanitation stations, rigorous disinfection processes and social distancing rules.

Food Safety
As well as ensuring your venue of choice meets food safety standards to avoid issues such as food poisoning, you’ll also need to consider the safest way to offer food and drinks in relation to Covid-19 guidelines. Instead of buffet meals, offer plated-up food that is served at socially distanced tables, or provide pre-packed grab and go lunches that can be collected at various locations across the venue, or have them delivered direct to a meeting room. Tea and coffee stations can be replaced with pre-made drinks in eco-friendly disposable cups.

Everyday Issues
With public health top of the agenda at the moment, it can be easy to overlook some other aspects of event safety. This includes the type of tables and chairs delegates will be using and whether they offer the correct ergonomic support. Also find out if any delegates have additional requirements to support their physical health. Break-out sessions on beanbags may sound like a fun idea, but not at the risk of participants’ health or comfort.

Emergency Plan
Last but not least, writing an emergency plan will help keep your event safe, even in exceptional circumstances. This should include everything from your protocol for dealing with suspected Covid-19 cases, to dealing with injuries and emergency evacuations. The venue itself should have plans in place for many scenarios, so check you all agree on the protocols you put in place on how to plan a safe event, and ensure all staff working at the event are aware.
Planning a safe event often involves considering worst case scenarios, but ultimately results in events that everyone is confident in attending.

Planning Your Wedding

Your ceremony is the most important part of your wedding day. It’s the moment you officially promise to spend a lifetime together and say your “I Do’s”. Plus, it sets the tone for your big day. So it’s understandable that you want it as memorable as it could be. It’s also understandable that you’d want to make sure that everything runs smoothly. To do that, you need to have everything covered.

Now, we understand that’s easier said than done and planning a wedding ceremony isn’t exactly the easiest task. So to help you, here are 6 tips for how to plan your wedding in 2021!

Find an officiant ahead of time

An officiant is one of the most important people at your wedding. He/She will be the person who will marry you and guide you through making your commitments to one another. So you should choose someone who you are both comfortable with. You should also find an officiant way before your big day because it gives you time to know each other – and having someone you know and familiar with will make your ceremony feel more personal and authentic.  Try to meet officiants together and maybe take their offer for counseling. This will help you as a couple find the right person to marry you.

Choose your venue

If you’ve already chosen a venue for your reception, find a nearby area for your ceremony or vice versa. It’s even better when it’s at the same location. This way, you can cut costs on renting another venue, transportation, and getting your team from one point to another, i.e. your videographer and photographer.

Having close locations or even one location can also save you from worrying about logistics. You don’t have to worry about how your guests will get from your ceremony to reception. You and your guests will also have more time to enjoy mingling with your guests, dancing, posing, and having fun with your photo booth.

Allocate your budget wisely

Your wedding ceremony is one of the most photographed moments of your big day. It will also draw the most attention from your guests. So the whole area must look good both personally and in photos. To do this, you need to distribute your ceremony budget wisely. Your aisle and altar are the high-impact areas that you should focus on and spend more on. This includes your arches and backdrops.

You can use the rest of your decor budget on your entrance, ceiling, and chairs. For flowers, you can ask your florist to help you with a few arrangements. But if you’re planning your wedding to be more elaborate, try to find a floral expert or an event designer so you can execute your vision. For chairs, consider how good they’ll look and how comfortable they are. Don’t put chairs too closely together and give everyone some breathing room.

Set the order

If you’re following a religious or cultural wedding, usually, there’s already an order you need to follow. But if you’re having a non-denominational wedding, here’s a wedding ceremony order you can start working on:

  • Wedding processional
  • Opening remarks from your officiant
  • Reading from a few people you’ve chosen
  • Exchange of vows
  • Ring Exchange
  • Pronouncement of marriage
  • First kiss
  • Unity ceremony
  • Closing remarks from your officiant
  • Recessional

You can change, move around, or remove anything. Just don’t leave out the important moments such as vows, exchange of rings, and your first kiss. You can plan the order of your wedding ceremony according to your preference as a couple. What’s important to both of you and what creates the most impact? This is your big day and you can customize it any way you like.

When planning your wedding ceremony, do consider that people have limited attention spans. So try to keep things within 20 to 25 minutes. Anything shorter gives the impression that you’re trying to rush things. On the other hand, anything longer than 25 minutes and you’ll lose their attention.

Choose your music

Having music at your processional and recessional creates more impact and make people “feel” what you’re feeling. So share how happy you are or how filled you are with love through the right songs. We suggest finding live musicians. However, you can always play a recording if you want. Just make sure you have someone to press play and stop during your big day.

Plan your exit

Mark the end of your ceremony and the beginning of your life as a married couple with a memorable exit. You can have your guests shower you with flower petals or confetti as you walk down the aisle as newlyweds.

Now to help make your wedding ceremony run smoothly, here are a few things to remember:

  • Hire someone to supervise everything – a wedding planner is incredibly important in making sure everything is in order. With someone overseeing everything, you can relax and just focus on what matters – getting married!
  • Use paper – it’s best to read your vows from a piece of paper rather than read it from your phone. Not only will it look better on photos but you can also avoid feedback from the sound system.
  • Don’t forget the rings!

After your wedding ceremony, you now have to plan your reception. And to make it unforgettable and fabulous, Inner Circle Decor is here to help. We have all the rentals you need to bring your event to life!

Certainly, there are many ways for you to customize your wedding from the ceremony to the reception. But regardless of how you want to execute your plans as long as it reflects your relationship, then your wedding day will certainly be memorable for both of you.

Corporate Event

Here are some unusual and alternative ideas to make your corporate events stick in the minds of participants for all the right reasons.

All company events – internal and external – are opportunities to reflect your business in the best possible light. Making corporate events memorable is about focusing on details and unusual ideas so you stand apart from the competition.

External Meetings

Hosting clients or partners from other companies is about reflecting your brand in a positive light, as well as discussing business. In addition to choosing a meeting venue that feels inspiring and has all the technology you need, go a step further to make these meetings memorable.

Food

Food can be a great way to do this – host a themed food tasting instead of a formal lunch, or bring in a chef to do a theatrical food demonstration. Everyone loves a gift too, and even a goody bag with unusually designed USB sticks or some bespoke freshly ground coffee will go a long way.

Internal Events

Even meetings that only have attendees from within a company are important to get right, since having well-run and memorable meetings increases loyalty and productivity among employees. For company-wide events, do something unexpected such as hiring a comedian to get people in high spirits or organize a team building event.

Conferences

Large company corporate event and conferences are an opportunity to show off the best of your business to a captive audience, so it’s critical to get the details right so you stand out from your competitors. Great conferences begin with excellent speakers, so take your time to find just the right people.

Speakers

At least one speaker should be someone who can stick to a theme while inspiring them – for example, an individual who has achieved a great feat professionally or personally. Introduce some unexpected extras too, such as alternative coffee break sessions where people can practice mindfulness in a tipi or undertake a 15-minute masterclass.

Training Days

Days dedicated to learning should be about more than sitting in a classroom. Engage the participants from the start by sending them on a scavenger hunt. Link the details of the scavenger hunt to the training theme so it gets people on their feet to begin a training session. Surprise participants by setting up informal seating options instead of desks and chairs.

Example

For example, giving people the option to sit on sofas or beanbags as well as at tables creates an inviting atmosphere ripe for learning. Also break up the day by inviting an expert speaker to talk about a subject relevant to the training topic. Using storytelling to explain the practical application of the subject matter can inspire people to implement the things they learn.

Team Building Days

Time away from the workplace are rare opportunity to bring teams together and consolidate working relationships. Even if some work needs to be achieved during team building days, there are lots of ways to surprise employees with some highly memorable activities, and experiential learning can be really effective in enhancing communication, improving teamwork and building trust. It works well to energize the team by starting the day with an ice breaker.

Participants

Ask all participants to share an unexpected or unusual detail about themselves ahead of the team building day, such as a famous relation, unusual hobby or the superhero they would most like to be! Give everyone a copy of the list and task them with matching the unusual fact with the relevant colleague…without asking direct questions. It’s a fantastic way to get team members talking about all sorts of subjects they wouldn’t normally think of.

Make It Memorable

A memorable corporate event forms lasting relationships with people, whether it’s your employees or future business contacts. Adding unexpected elements and unusual components to the simplest meetings or the largest conferences really can make all the difference.
